Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join a financial services company in Santa Clara, CA California. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the loan processing team, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step of the loan process.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Loan Officers, third-party vendors, and borrowers at each step of the process.
  • Maintain company timelines and system processes with accuracy.
  • Review all documents thoroughly before submission to assure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Compile all loan conditions, including any post-closing conditions, and review for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Determine if documents sent will meet the conditions requested prior to submission to the Underwriter.
  • Act as liaison among all parties, including, but not limited to, consumer, Branch Manager, Loan Officer, Underwriting Coordinator, and the entire Operations team.
  • Prepare loan file, including all supporting documentation, for submission to the underwriter department.
  • Order title reports, appraisals, verifications of employment, and verifications of deposit.
  • Diligently secure and protect consumer information, personal and financial.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by developing helpful relationships with additional team stakeholders: mortgage loan officers, mortgage servicers, underwriters, and mortgage operations manager/branch managers to ensure a smooth loan process.
  • Enforce adherence to all state and federal regulations, mortgage lending and underwriting guidelines, and RESPA requirements while verifying loan applications from prospective home buyers, creating loan files, and processing loan closings.
  • Resolve, escalate, or remedy customer service issues in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • 5-year minimum experience.
  • Familiarity with TRID, RESPA, and other mortgage compliance regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal/phone skills.
  • Detail oriented with ability to prioritize.
  • Self-motivated with strong desire to succeed.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Strong team-oriented atmosphere.

$28-30 per hour
